Annika Barker had spent much of her career working as a bookkeeper for an accountant. Whilst she enjoyed this job, she wanted more variety in her job, so she underwent Pitman Training’s VA Diploma.
“I was desperate for a change in career. During a chat with a friend, they recommended I contact Pitman Training. I looked them up online and they had great reviews, so I thought it was worth a shot. When I chatted to the team at Pitman, they took the time to understand my ambitions and helped me find a course that suited my goals,” said Annika.
“The whole learning experience with Pitman was fantastic. I found the course to be very well laid out and informative. I also loved having access to a learning coach as they were always happy to help whenever I had any questions.
“To anyone thinking about retraining, I recommend researching the role they want, to find out the skills they need and then get in touch with Pitman to help gain the skills and credibility needed to succeed. With this course’s help, I landed a virtual assistant job supporting an organisation that is helping the public sector in Wales to go digital.”
