jasmine-formal-qualifications-for-pa

Jasmine works full-time as the PA to the Moderator (the equivalent of a Bishop) of the United Reformed Church and the Office Administrator. Although in her job for a while, Jasmine didn’t have any formal qualifications, so she decided training could be the answer – without knowing what to take. She found Pitman Training through the internet and, after an appointment with one of our team, she enrolled on the Executive PA course, along with touch typing, shorthand, Microsoft Office skills and one-day seminars including Minutes of Meeting, Presentation Skills, Assertiveness, and Supervisory Skills.

Jasmine said: “My learning experience was beyond my expectations. Even though it was not a ‘classroom’ experience in the true sense of the word, the idea of coming into a classroom situation with tutor help and your own work space really helped with focusing on the various modules. There were no interruptions and the whole experience was one of continuous support, comfort and flexibility. The idea of flexible learning time is paramount if you work full time and for me it was a very positive learning experience.”
