When Mum of two, Trudy Rodgers, first walked into Pitman Training Plymouth, she had not been in full time employment for ten years so she knew that updating her skills would be the best way for her to get her confidence back and ultimately get back into work.
Trudy enrolled on the Legal Secretary Diploma course. After completing the first series of modules, whilst continuing to study, she started looking for work and was delighted to quickly find a one-month contract which shortly afterwards, turned into a permanent position as an Executive PA.
“I was a bit nervous at being back at work,” Trudy recalls” but I did enjoy the challenge of working as a PA to the Managing Director. What started as a sickness cover continued longer than expected and before I knew it, the commitment and responsibility of working dug its claws well in!”
