Pitman Training Group Managing Director Visits Kenya: Building Skills, Stronger Teams and Greater Impact

Paul Lewis pitman training team building May 2026

In May 2026, Pitman Training Kenya welcomed Paul Lewis QFP, Group Managing Director of Pitman Training Group, to its training centre in Westlands, Nairobi. The visit brought global leadership closer to the Kenya team and reinforced a shared mission: helping people and organisations build practical, career-focused skills for a changing world of work.

During his time in Kenya, Paul supported several important activities, including the Pitman Career Launch Forum, the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya Executive Leadership Dialogue on Future Skills & Workforce Readiness, and business conversations with organisations exploring staff development and corporate training. His involvement provided a valuable global perspective while highlighting the role that skills development, professional training and continuous learning can play in Kenya’s workforce.

What training does Pitman Training Kenya offer in Nairobi?

Pitman Training Kenya provides more than 250 flexible, career-focused courses, Awards and Diplomas, plus tailored corporate training and staff development. Key areas include Microsoft Office, Excel, data analytics, Business & Management, IT, project management, communication, marketing, accounting and professional development.

Why strong teams matter for learning and development

Strong student experiences begin with strong teams. As part of Paul’s visit, the Pitman Training Kenya team travelled to Entumoto Camp in the Masai Mara for a Friday-to-Sunday team-building retreat.

The weekend created space to reconnect, reflect and strengthen collaboration away from the daily pace of the Nairobi centre. Through team conversations, shared experiences and time in the Mara, the team focused on communication, alignment, leadership, service and the common purpose behind its work.

For Pitman Training Kenya, team development is directly connected to learner and client experience. When colleagues are aligned, energised and committed to continuous improvement, they are better positioned to support students, employers and partners with confidence and consistency.
