“Having had an exciting career in football in Brazil, I moved to the UK and had various jobs as a waiter and working in a supermarket. However, I soon realised that everything is about IT now and I love IT! As a result, I really wanted a career in that sector.
Having tried and failed to learn CCNA on my own, I contacted Pitman Training Reading because I had heard positive things. I found the initial appointment with André to be really good and the support available to me was amazing. I opted to enrol on the Advanced IT Support Technician Diploma with CompTIA, to get my career in IT off to the best possible start. I chose to study because I felt that Pitman Training was really good and offered flexible training with plenty of support all of the time. I found everything in the Training Centre to be perfect. I also liked being able to study in my own time because I have a family.
I enjoyed the Diploma, as it was very clear to me and I understood what I had to do. The practical method made it easy to study. Everyone was really helpful and friendly and I also found the 24/7 Help Desk support to be great.
The training fulfilled my needs as, having only recently completed the Diploma, and following on from some CV and interviewing advice from André, I have already secured several job interviews in IT. I am expecting to be working in IT very soon!”
