This course focuses on cloud infrastructure monitoring to proactively identify and evaluate security vulnerabilities and allow organisations to protect their assets using popular cloud platform tools and services. The course explores both Microsoft Azure and the Google Cloud Platform tools that can be used to mitigate and recover from data loss.
In this course, you’ll examine the principles of identity and privileged access management, which will help you and your organisation secure your content in the cloud. You’ll learn about securing cloud resources using subnets, virtual private clouds, security groups, and virtual networks.
You’ll also learn how to protect organisational cloud infrastructure by optimising security, using tools such as Azure Advisor. And you’ll learn how to proactively shield cloud infrastructure by monitoring organisational security using built-in Azure and Google Cloud Platform security tools and services.
Finally, you’ll learn about physical cloud assets and how to remediate cloud infrastructure security vulnerabilities by detecting and responding to them.
